Blackwater diving explores a fascinating and largely overlooked world, every night earth’s largest migration takes place, as trillions of animals ascend from the twilight zone all over the world. Diving in this cloud of open water migrants is one of my favorite types of diving, and it provides a never ending buffet of breathtaking photographic subjects.
